This page is dedicated to a friend of mine, he has agreed to share his poems with you all. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did and still do. If any one has a poem to share, just let me know and I'll be happy to put it on this page.
Looking into the sea of my madness forever in the direction of uncertainty and its unforgiving reflections pulling at my soul and letting all know the nature of what I am and what I have become. Knowing no bounds is what the subject is, though no one is taking account and no one seems to be listening anyway so why then do I reach out to the collectiveness of myself teaching the truths and values of a discarded world of uncertain paths? Well the answer is simple isn't it, the temple has to be built and the stones must be brought from the quarry to be shaped and molded and I am the only one that can conquer such a feat, for the builder of one's life lies on the shoulders of one's self. The sea for its far reaching waters can be but a throw of a pebble to the person who excepts one's life lies on the shoulders of one's self. What is reality? This is the question, how do you comprehend such a thing... wondering, looking for an answer, seeking the truth finding nothing but more questions. As I look into the inner depths of my mind I can imagine a swirl of nothingness that comes into a light of a sense, realizing this I see that nothing is really something to the one that looks though the veil of reality and explores the realms of perception and wholeness, thus bringing comfort and sustains us into ones life... As I look into tomorrow I ask myself who am I, they say that I'm human but what is human? How do you define this manufactured word. I wonder in the day of our beginning if being so called human even existed, or if we we're all equal with our brother tree, deer, fish and bird. When did we put ourselves above the rest and say I own the planet and can do with her as I want, who are we to say that this is ours and no one can come in, only if it benefits us and our human race. Love and respect for life, all life should be the word that distinguishes us as a species not above nor below, but one on this plane of existence . I am me an individual the force of my own will the fire and passion of my own destiny equal with nature and the universe as the silver lady and green god would have wanted it ..... By Ruben
Look into her eyes and you will see the gentle swaying of the willows in the brisk spring air, the fire of truth, the majesty of the crashing waves and the fertility of the earth below us. She is our mother the triple goddess, the life giver, the silver lady of the night she is watching and all is good....By Ruben
Wondering into the forest of my sorrow, lonely oh so lonely is this place in the spring time, the birds, the trees they exist but they do not praise the coming of the summer for the birds mate has died and the trees will not seed lonely oh so lonely, searching, longing for the bird to find someone to build its nest high in the branches of the tree's towering shelter. I see the bird and ask it why is there no one for us (the person and the bird are one in the same) it replies with a sneer of anger and doubt!! You don't know... you have never thought of this... I reply no I haven't? The bird lowers it's head and replies then you will never know, for knowing such a thing will either guide you or it will lead you astray. BUT THIS THING WON'T KILL YOU. The one is there, the road is long, find yourself and love will come into the forest .....By Ruben
